SOP: How I Change My IP Address

1. You should not use both wireless and hard cable at the same time to connect to network it will fail. So right click and enable or disable as necessary.

3. Log in as admin

4. Start -> Control Panel

5. Network Connections

6. Look for Local Area connection

8. Right click go to properties look for Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) and click on properties button

   1. 

       

   2. At Alum Creek your

      1. IP address should be 192.168.7.40

      2. Your gateway should be 192.168.7.200

      3. We are using wireless don’t this if you are wireless

         1. If you are hard cabled then use these settings and make sure your wireless is not enabled by right click on step 4 above on the wireless card.

         2. Otherwise don’t plug a cable in and disable your network card

            1. Go back to step 4 and right and disable using right click

   3. At Lockbourne your

      1. IP address should be 192.168.1.41

      2. Your gateway should be 192.168.1.200

      3. Make sure your wireless connections are NOT connected or you won’t be able to connect.

   4. 

       

   5. Click OK

   6. Click OK again
