E-mail Policy
General
Email is a critical tool in our day-to-day business and is the most widely used system at FARO Solutions, Inc.. Our email system is directly connected to the Internet, which makes it easy to exchange messages with business partners. It is recommended that all FARO Solutions customers and business partners have the capability to communicate utilizing email with FARO Solutions.
Ownership
Messages sent to FARO Solutions belong to the FARO Solutions. There is no guarantee of privacy when sending a message into the FARO Solutions email system.
Address
The address format to use for sending messages to FARO Solutions employees is:
firstname.lastname@farousa.com
For example:
- alice.jones@farousa.com
- boba.jones@farousa.com
The FARO Solutions email system is not case sensitive, however we encourage business partners to use all lower case letters in the address.
We encourage our customers to verify addresses with their FARO Solutions business partners before sending messages, since persons with the same name may have their middle initial added to the end of the first name (see example 2 above).
Delivery
The time it takes for a message to reach its destination over the Internet can vary from a few minutes to many hours. Do not send time critical information via email.
Other
Do not send chain letters or non-business related information.
